Each cube contains a ring, each ring contains a note with one word representing one memory.

 

In exchange with a single cube, each person writes words of their memory and picks with no knowledge of the material of the cube.

A complicated process of understanding a memory of someone, is addressed through the unknown quality of the cubes; do you eat, boil, smash or wash away the layers to understand?
